　　为助力姚基金，支持中国慈善事业发展，万豪国际集团中国北区商务委员会将于2017年6月24日举行第八届万豪国际集团中国北区慈善高尔夫球赛。此次慈善高球赛由宝马冠名赞助。姚基金创始人姚明先生将会亲自莅临现场，答谢到场所有参赛选手以及此次慈善赛事的赞助商。在多方赞助与合作支持下，也期望能够将“万豪服务精神”分享给更多的社区和团体。

　　姚明爱心基金（简称“姚基金”）是由中国篮球运动员姚明于2008年汶川地震后发起，在中国青少年发展基金会架构下设立的专项慈善公益基金，其宗旨是致力于助学兴教，促进青少年的健康发展。姚基金与万豪国际集团的合作起源于2013年，双方携手共同致力于中国贫困地区体育教育的发展。截止到2016年，万豪集团已为姚基金捐款750万元人民币，在四川与贵州共建立了3所希望小学，篮球界巨星参加慈善赛助力慈善事业我们认为教育是对青少年最好的给予，现双方已进入第二个三年计划，双方将继续携手，帮助贫困地区的孩子完成篮球界巨星参加慈善赛助力慈善事业他们的篮球梦。

　　去年底，万豪国际亚太区副总裁Craig Smith先生与姚基金志愿者团队，前往位于贵州省北部的习水县温水镇下坝村希望小学探访在校的老师与学生。这是万豪与姚基金合作重建的第三所希望小学，共有244位在校学生和9位老师。孩子们均来自下坝村及临近村镇，其中有四分之一的学生属于留守儿童，父母亲都在外省打工，平日跟着爷爷奶奶们生活长大。虽然此行只有28人亲身前往，但没能出席探访活动的来自万豪在中国各地50多间酒店的同仁捐赠了书包围巾等学习生活物资。

　　重建学校的意义不止于改善硬件设施，更在于这些条件创造出的无限可能。我们坚信知识改变命运，并将继续与姚基金携手，完成更多希望小学的重建工作，为孩子们创造舒适良好的教育条件，推动中国贫困地区的教育发展。因为每个孩子都是一种美好的可能。

　　Chinese rural youth have benefited fromstudyingin the 18 Hope Primary Schools and one special education school it hasfunded.Besides constructing the school buildings, the Yao Foundation alsoimproves theeducational experience of Chinese youth by partnering with leadingChinese andmultinational companies to build libraries, computer rooms,kitchens, andsports and exercise areas in local schools. In 2012, the YaoFoundationinitiated the “Yao Foundation Hope Primary School Basketball Season”program.
